HISTORY

Transient

In the mid 1950's, the Shreveport Pentecostals began as a small church in the home of one its members Timothy Lovell with founding Pastor Clyde Self. Today, over fifty years later, it is a thriving church under the direction of Pastor Kent Greer. The church is located at 3001 Meriwether Road in Shreveport, Louisiana. It is a Bible-believing church, teaching New Testament salvation in a relevant way to reach this generation. The atmosphere of the church is one both of love for people and a desire to worship God. This setting is complimented by a contemporary music department.

The Shreveport Pentecostals also have a drama department, which regularly performs skits and song interpretation. We have ministry groups for men, women, youth and kids. In short, there is something for everyone at the Shreveport Pentecostals. Stop by and visit us! We would be delighted to have you!
