At The Shreveport Pentecostals, we look for every opportunity to connect with our members and our community. We understand that it takes a diverse and constant expanding ministry focus to reach a society and community filled with people who are as equally diverse generationally as they are ethnically and culturally. Our ministry and service structures are constantly evolving to meet the needs of the community in which we are engaged. Please take a moment to explore just some of the many opportunities our church provides in hopes of connecting ourselves better to both Christ and our local cities.
Each month, our schedule is packed with a variety of service structures that offer both a balance to our growth in Christ as well as experiences in different worship environments. Below are are some examples of several of our routine monthly services.
Sunday morning events start off with Sunday school, Bible study classes, and New Member Classes at 10:00 am. Our morning worship service begins at 10:45 am & is jammed packed with powerful worship, inspirational music & anointed preaching.
Worship service with a workshop spin held on the first Sunday night of each month. Our walk with Christ should seek to grow beyond mere disciples of the Word and into stewards of the message of Jesus to the world. "Activate" is focused on developing & training people to become active ministers of the Gospel.
Monthly focused prayer rally with impassioned worship & music. Focuses led by prayer leaders while the congregation is ushered into the presence of God. If you've never experienced a powerful demonstration of worship, praise & prayer, then you need to make it a point to check this service out for yourself.
Split service for our men’s & ladies’ ministries. Basically, if you’re either a male or a female you should be here for this one. This service gives our pink and blue ministries the opportunity for focused devotionals and relevant messages for both our men and women.
"Altar'd" is a monthly evangelistic service held on the fourth Sunday night of each month. You can expect powerful worship music, skits, song dramas, blacklight productions, sign language ministries & more. However, the most important part is the preaching, which is anointed & focused on evangelism while concluding with stirring altar worship.
Connect Groups are held every Wednesday night. Our groups are usually broken up into Adult Bible Study, Youth Bible Study, & Kids Prayer Classes. However, throughout the year other classes are offered, such as grief classes, addiction recovery, career planning, etc. "Connect" focuses on teaching others to unite with one another while growing in their personal knowledge of Jesus Christ.
